Biography:

PhD research in Artificial Intelligence based Evolutionary Computational Techniques for the Optimization of GMPLS Networks from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow UK, 2018. In 2012, I received MSc. In Mobile Communication from University of East London (UEL), UK and BSc. Electrical Engineering from CECOS University, Pakistan. I have been involved both in industrial and academic based projects along with research awards granted. My research intersects includes Artificial Intelligence (AI), Metaheuristic Optimization Techniques, Computer, Optical, wireless and wired networks (IP, MPLS/ GMPLS Networks) optimization by investigating/ proposing and working on genetic, evolutionary, bio-inspired, swarm, modified/ adaptive and Hybrid models-based optimization techniques, are the key research areas of interest. Routing Algorithms, designing and modelling wireless and wired networks using networking tools (OPNET, OMNET++) and mathematical demonstration of networking parameters. Modelling and testing mathematical expressions using MATLAB and C/ C++ tools for optimization. Examining SONET, ATM, MPLS and GMPLS networks based on network layer research such as routing Protocols (OSPF, CSPF, IS-IS, IGPR and EIGPR). Cognitive radio and spectrum sensing techniques and system optimization with given data for different applications proposing and studying algorithms and models designing. Doing research as Erasmus researcher in VSB, technical university of Ostrava, Czech Republic. During my PhD research, I had been appointed teacher assistant for teaching and mentoring duties in the Electronics and Electrical Engineering department for different electrical engineering-based modules. Beside this, I have been also involved in Lectureship jobs after my MS degree for 2 years. The awards and scholarships I obtained during my career include Erasmus Research Grant for Research in VSB- Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) & University of Strathclyde, UK, PhD research full grant in University of Strathclyde University and merit-based scholarship from University of East London UK. Involved with various research projects in the form of research collaboration with research staff in University of Žilina, Slovakia, VSB-technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic and Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Cairo, Egypt.
